Know About Rushden : Rushden is a small town in East Northamptonshire about 4 miles from historic Wellingborough. Having only grown from village to a town around 120 years ago Rushden still seems like a large village possibly due to most residents spending their whole lives there working locally, which gives the place a homely feel despite being mostly industrial. Yellow sandstone Cotswold style, occasional thatched cottages and unique ‘gingerbread’ style houses nestle among red brick Victorian terraces all overlooked by the superbly crocketed spire of the 14th century St.Mary’s church.
